I am Taking the 30 for 30 Remix Challenge

Have you heard of Kendi Everyday? I recently stumbled upon this blog and included it among my favorites after seeing her brilliant idea for the 30 for 30 Remix Challenge. Inspired by a lack of funds (oh how I can relate!) and a creative idea, Kendi challenged herself and her followers to remix their wardrobe for 30 days. Here are the complete rules.

And here are just a few outfits this challenge inspired Kendi to create. I love the way she discloses the stores she purchased her outfit from.

So cute! I am definitely inspired. I'll be taking the 30 for 30 Remix Challenge soon and keep you all posted on my journey. I may need to run by Target and a couple thrift stores before taking the plunge (is that allowed?), but look for outfit posts soon! Wish me luck!

Life in blogland...

I have recently discovered the true awesomeness of the Internet by completely diving head first into the blogger lifestyle. No, I am not by any means a "veteran" blogger, but I have a little more than a year of experience with this thing and I am just starting to feel like I am cruising into my element. By spying on some real life friends' blogs, perusing Twitter and becoming a social network whore, I have discovered a world of amazement and I am here to tell the tale! Here are two of my new guilty pleasures found around the net...

1. Pinterest. What an absolute godsend for bloggers and other creative, visual minds! A perfect way to get the creativity oozing through my brain after a long work day. I have spent some serious time on here in awe of the fabulous photography and truly inspiring images.

2. Rue Magazine. Behold, a glorious online mag fit for gawking. With brilliant photography and smart articles, I am genuinely excited for the next edition (and this one JUST came out!).
